Printing Handouts
For best results when printing handouts, follow these guidelines:
If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0+ ensure all page margins are set to either 7.5 mm or 19.05 mm.
To check page margin settings go to Internet Explorer > File > Page Setup.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox ensure you are printing at between 90% and 100%. Depending on your setup, you may need to adjust settings in order to get the best results.
Go to Print > Print Preview and then set page scale to 90%, 95% or 100% in the toolbar at the top of the preview screen.
Note: You will need to do this each time you want to print a page. If you want to change the default printing behaviour in Internet Explorer 7 you will need to install a hotfix from Microsoft.
The hotfix can be be downloaded from here:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931768/en-us
This hotfix resolves several issues including the printing problem. However, once installed the registry will need to be changed. See:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/932538/
In Firefox go to File > Page Setup > Format and Options and set the print scale to the required % value.
